Powder Mountain

If you have been looking to ski Utah, Powder Mountain is on everyone's lips! Powder Mountain, affectionately known by locals as “Pow Mow”, was recently rated as the #1 ski resort in the West by Ski Magazine! Undiscovered Powder Mountain is a true throwback to how skiing used to be, with uncrowded slopes, great snow, and prices that let everyone in on the fun. The vast and largely undiscovered terrain make this the ski adventure go-to. Powder Mountain is the largest ski resort in the United States and the second largest ski resort in North America. The two recently added lifts brings the total skiable acres to 8,464 over 167 runs. Up your adventure by taking a ride on the Snowcat to Lightening Ridge or booking a DMI (Don't Mention it!) Guided Tour. Lift ticket sales are limited so be sure to book in advance.

Nordic Valley

Nordic Valley is a small family and budget friendly ski resort in Eden, Utah. Nordic Valley is famous for its ski school, intermediate and advanced slopes, and family friendly atmosphere. It is easily the most accessible out of Ogden Valley’s three ski resorts and offers 500 acres on the boutique ski hill. There are 5 lifts and night skiing, making it a popular evening activity. Adults, children, and families alike will enjoy Nordic’s down-home vibe, fun terrain, and welcoming atmosphere. The resort features an expansive terrain park and a fat bike race series. Kid's ski free until 12!

Pineview Reservoir

Recreation at Pineview includes fishing, ice fishing, boating, swimming, paddle boarding, windsurfing, jet skiing, water skiing, canoeing, and beach activities such as volleyball and horseshoes. The sandy beaches are located at three spots: Cemetery Point just west of Huntsville, Anderson Cove Campground and day-use area, and Middle Inlet Beach north of Huntsville. Windsurfer Beach on the west side of the lake acts as a trailhead for hiking and biking to Lewis Peak and also has beach access for non-motorized watercraft. Enjoy the bike 16 mile path around Pineview.
